Hyatt negocia adquirir Playa Resorts, propietaria de 24 hoteles

Hyatt reveló este lunes que ha firmado un acuerdo de exclusividad con Playa Hotels & Resorts, propietario de 24 complejos en el Caribe, bajo el cual negocia alguna nueva alianza estratégica, entre las que se incluya una posible adquisición.

Mark Hoplamazian, presidente y CEO de Hyatt, apuntó que «seguimos firmemente comprometidos con nuestro modelo de negocio de ‘asset-light’ y si el proceso continúa, continuaremos con él cualquiera que sea la alternativa estratégica que emprendamos”.

La cadena radicada en Chicago matizó que no existen garantías de que se alcance un transacción de estas negociaciones exclusivas, y que no comentará nada que se haya ejecutado completamente un acuerdo definitivo, según una nota a la que tuvo acceso ‘Desarrollo‘.
