Lo que anteriormente fue el hotel Azul Sensatori en Puerto Morelos, con 435 suites, ahora es el renovado Palmar Beach Resort Riviera Maya, el cual es parte de la mexicana Tafer Hotels & Resorts,

El portafolio de Tafer se compone de: Palmar Beach Resort Riviera Maya, Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Los Cabos, Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Cancún, Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta, Hotel Mousai Puerto Vallarta, Hotel Mousai Cancún, Sian Ka’an Village Quintana Roo, Sierra Lago Resort & Spa Mascota Jalisco y Villa del Palmar Cancún.

Como lo informó REPORTUR.mx, en enero Bernardo Cueto Riestra, secretario de Turismo de Quintana Roo, detalló en su momento que se logró una ocupación hotelera promedio de 74.7% en los destinos del Caribe mexicano.

El reto era superar los números, debido a que en el último año la infraestructura hotelera pasó de 130 mil 123 cuartos a 135 mil 430 habitaciones. (Caribe mexicano dejó vacías una de cada cuatro habitaciones en 2024).
