Nos disponemos a emprender un viaje a lo desconocido, a uno de los destinos seguramente menos explorados y explotados turísticamente. Hablamos de Pakistán, un país fascinante que esconde lugares aislados donde parece que el mundo global aún no ha llegado. En este país, formado en 1948 por la división de la India británica, destacan muchos lugares, como la zona de la frontera afgana en Peshawar, con la cultura grecobudista de Gandhara o los kalash, la increíble etnia animista de las montañas del Hindú Kush. No podemos olvidarnos de los Himalayas y del Karakórum, con algunas de las cumbres más altas del mundo, y ciudades históricas del Imperio mongol como Multán o Lahore en el Punyab, la frontera con la India, o la región sur con Karachi y los sitios prehistóricos de Harappa y Mohenjo-Daro.
