Aunque Japón está de moda y son muchos los turistas que viajan hasta allí, pocos llegan a Kyushu. Y es una pena: es la isla más meridional y la menos visitada del país, pero también por eso, es de las más auténticas, marcada por los volcanes. Hasta aquí se viaja para visitar el humeante Sakurajima, rodear la mayor caldera del mundo o disfrutar de una inmensa variedad de onsen (aguas termales), pero también para descubrir ciudades históricas y animadas como Fukuoka y Nagasaki. Es el destino perfecto si ya se ha estado en Japón previamente, o si se quiere ver algo completamente diferente.
